Mijn high school ervaring Frankrijk 

"I arrived in 28th August. Since then I have experienced lots of things about the French life and France. Here I live in a family, where the parents are divorced. That’s why I live now in two flats, because I spend one week at the home of my host mother, and after I move to my host father, where I pass one week, too. To sum up, I change my address each Monday. =) Of course my host brother and sister come with me. I had been to Mont-Saint-Michel, which was marvellous. One of my dreams came true, so I am very happy. In the middle of September I started to play football in the local team of the town Betton. I have two trainings a week, and after a match at the weekend. In the school there are lots of foreign students from all over the world. In my class, there is just one other student from Germany. It’s hard to get friends with anyone, because I can’t speak the language fluently, so I have still problems in communication with the other. My host family is more patient, they repeat the sentence if I didn’t understand it. That’s why I feel better at home. All in all, my first month was good, but I think it will be much better, when I will be able to speak more fluently."

"October, it’s my second month in France. In this month I went to the cinema twice, and I was in a concert with my host father and brother. I was at the sea with my host mother, and I swam in it. The water was just 17 degrees. It wasn’t so hot. After swimming, I tasted the oyster, which wasn’t bad. In this month I could experience the French manifestation. In the school there was one, too. It was strange for me. In my class I started to understand the others, and the teachers. It gets better and better. I am glad because of it. The classes are simple for me, because I’ve already learnt everything. In fact, I am the best student in the class, I think it is funny. In my host family I can feel like at home. They are so nice. This month was better than my first one. I am happier, too. But of course I miss my home a bit."

"In this month I learned the French habits of Christmas. It was great. And I celebrated the New Year's Eve with some of my new friends. In the school I'm getting more and more close to my new friends, because I speak French more fluently."

"In January I had my birthday, and my host family offered me a great present, and they were very nice. I am getting more and more close to my host family. That's why I am very happy. It was a great month, and it passed fast."
